Becks Davis in African World Festival, Becks Davis, Detroit, Detroit, Detroit Moxie, Michigan Renaissance Festival., Troy Restaurant Week, Woodward Dream Cruise, events in detroit, fucking awesome festival, pedal cruise, things to do in Detroit

The conversations are the same every year regarding the Woodward Dream Cruise, people either love it or hate it. I have friends that make a point to go out of town every year during the Cruise. I also have friends who throw parties celebrating the classic car mayhem of the Woodward corridor.

Me? I love it. The people watching is fantastic, it brings new visitors and money to the area, and the cars are pretty cool. That said, I also live 3 miles west of Woodward and the traffic has never really affected me.

I’m going to miss the Dream Cruise this year as I am trekking up north to the Traverse City Wine & Art Festival. I’m SO excited to get out of town and explore Traverse City but part of me is sad that I won’t be here this weekend. Don’t worry, I’ll get over it.
