1. Creative Mornings - Head to Skidmore Studios for a free, monthly breakfast lecture. Luis Resto—a Detroit-based musician, founding member of Was (Not Was), and co-writer of Eminem's "Lose Yourself"—is the featured speaker. November 2.
2. Holiday Card Jam - Signal Return Press hosts this event featuring live-action, letterpress holiday card printing, music, wine and cheese. November 2nd.
3. Dreamtigers - Created by The Hinterlands and produced by PuppetART, this show explores dreams through physical theatre, puppetry and dance. Recommended for ages 7 and up. November 3rd.
4. LEGO Architecture: Towering Ambition - A LEGO® Certified Professional (who knew those existed?) has re-created 13 famous structures including Fallingwater, the John Hancock Center and the Empire State Building. November 3, 2012—February 24, 2013.
5. Fabergé: The Rise and Fall - This ticketed exhibit showcases the Russian treasures of the House of Fabergé including six imperial Easter eggs. Through January 21, 2013.
