2. Bat Zone - Nestled behind the Cranbrook Institute of Science is a nocturnal sanctuary for rescued bats and other creatures. Watch bats in flight, flying squirrels, owls, a two-toed sloth and a colony of Vampire Bats! April 5—6.
3. Belle Isle Aquarium - The aquarium is open every Saturday from 10am-3pm and this week they have a special talk on "Electric Fish in the Era of Genome Sequencing." April 5th.
4. Michigan Science Center - Kick off Space Week with rocket science! Explore how rockets move and make your own straw rocket. April 6th.
5. Detroit SOUP - Learn about creative projects in the city and vote on which project you would like to fund. $5 gets you a bowl of soup and the opportunity to do some good with good people. April 6th.
