Win Tickets to Thomas the Tank Engine™

Thomas the Tank Engine™ is rolling into Greenfield Village for the Day Out With Thomas™: The Celebration Tour 2010.

Detroit Moxie is excited to give away a family 4 pack to this fun family event. I know many of you have young kids, or in my case a husband that acts like a 6 year old, so I hope you enjoy this.

Thomas is celebrating his 65th birthday and wants to celebrate with all his fans, young and old alike. Hop on the train and take a ride on a 15-ton replica of Thomas the Tank Engine. Children will also have the opportunity to meet Sir Topham Hatt, Controller of The Railway, and participate in other fun activities.

Day Out With Thomas will be at Greenfield Village in Dearborn, Michigan on April 23-25, April 30-May 2, and May 8-9, 2010.

The Loot

One winner will receive one family 4 pack of tickets to Day Out With Thomas™ valid for the date of their choice. Yep, that's 4 tickets in total. Tickets include admission to Greenfield Village.

Hey, I'll try to enter too! I have a 4-year-old boy who loves trains and Thomas. We would love to go because we've never been to this event before, and I think both of my kids would enjoy the experience. Whoo Whoo!

We'd love to win this family pack of tickets to Thomas for one simple reason: To see more of this smiling face: Tyler's grin [photo].

I would love to win! My kids have been begging, but 4 tix is just so expensive. My son just LOVES Thomas the Tank Engine...after all his name is Thomas too!

Why I'd love to win Thomas tickets? Because it would elevate me to "greatest aunt in the world" status!

Because taking my kids to see the real Thomas will make them so proud and happy to be with me, and that will be the moment I hold onto when they ask me to drop them off a block away from school.

Because my children are 3 and 6, and they still believe in the magic of a talking train. Some day they won't. And that will be the saddest day.

Because my son is a train freak and was at age 1! Plus, I loved George Carlin and the juxtaposition of his voice over Thomas the Train's shows was always a joy for me too!

I would like to take my granddaughter to see Thomas. I want to see her pretty, little smile when she gets there! Her smile lights up a room and that to me, is the BEST reason in itself!!!
Thanks,

My best friend is a single, non-custodial dad who had to work very hard for parenting time with his 3 year old son this year. Their relationship has really blossomed and they both cherish every minute they spend together. "Thomas the Tank Engine" would be the first show they have ever attended together, and what better setting than in the classic, educational family-friendly Greenfield Village!

Wow - this would literally be a dream come true for my Son (2) and my Daughter (6) who absolutely love Thomas the Tank. They watch Thomas a couple times per week on PBS Kids Sprout, and my Son has a train table in his room with a few of the Thomas & Friends Characters.

We haven't had the means to take our family to Greenfield Village, but I have fond memories of going there as a child. A few years ago, we were able to attend the Henry Ford Museum using coupons we received from Target Stores, and ever since then, we've been talking about making the trip from Lansing to visit Greenfield Village. So far - we haven't been able to fulfill those wishes.

It would mean the world to me if I could surprise my little ones with a visit to Thomas the Tank. I can only imagine how their faces would light up. It's those moments that a parent lives for - and this would be magical.

My 5 year old grandson is adjusting to a new life., His mom and sister moved out of State this year. His dad got full guardianship, so that he could live with him. He loves trains and especially Thomas the Tank. He has been a Thomas fan since he was 2 years old. I'm sure seeing Thomas the tank would add something positive to his adjustment period.

My nephews love Thomas & Friends! Would love to give them this opportunity.

Becks,

I know how much you support Michigan stuff and this is a great give away! My son loves Thomas the Train and have debated going to the Greenfield event. Winning this event would help us make the decision to go!
