Weekend Roundup
1. Thunderdrome! - Dorais Velodrome in Detroit is the spot to be for raw racing! Mopeds, scooters, minibikes, fixed gear, bikes, go-karts and more will race around the banked track. April 30th.
2. Guernsey Farms Dairy Taste Fest - The family owned dairy in Northville opens it's doors and will be offering tastings of all of its products, including some new ones. April 30th.
3. The Fires of Beltane - Celebrate the rites of spring with the Detroit Fire Guild, the Detroit Fly House and live music. April 30th.
4. Detroit Wig Out 2011 - This one night party is a benefit for MOCAD. Grab a wig, sport a new look and listen to live music. April 30th. There is also a family-friendly version on May 1st.
5. Totally Awesome Fest - Three days of music, magic, fashion and pancakes in Ypsilanti. Activities for all ages. April 29-May1.

Roller Races Volume 3 at Foran's Grand Trunk Bar.
In a protracted run-up to the big event, the Criterium Detroit City hosts Roller Races Volume 3 - simply put, races on stationary bikes in a bar. The bikes (from the Downtown Ferndale Bike Shop), beer, music, and dancing are in anticipation of the USACycling race on a closed circuit of Detroit streets this July 9th. The event takes place at Foran's Grand Trunk Pub after April's Critical Mass Bike Ride.
This will be the third of our roller race series! We will be holding these roller races directly after Critical Mass! Stop by and see if you can uncrown March's champion!
