1. Designing Tomorrow: America’s World’s Fairs of the 1930s - Head to The Henry Ford to explore 6 Depression-era world's fairs and the impact they had on the public. Over 150 artifacts are featured including
Elektro the Moto-Man robot. Through September 2nd.
2. Turtle Island - A parable inspired by the Native People of North America is brought to life with different types of puppets, masks and actors. May 11th.
3. The Rouge - Part of the Detroit Historical Societies montly film series, this documentary from 1997 tells the story of one of the most famous industrial workplaces ever. May 11—12.
4. Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum Walking Art Tour - Enjoy beautiful pieces of art from the Detroit Institute of Arts Inside|Out program along with other public art along the route. May 11—12
5. Charter One Free Family Second Sunday - If you've never been—or even if you have—this is a great opportunity to check out the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History. May 12th.
